I saw at least one vendor at Marlboro that had numerous Glocks in his case which were labeled "Mass. compliant", as well as many that were not.

What's the point of that? If he's a retail dealer, my understanding is he can ONLY sell "compliant" Glocks. And if he's not a retail dealer, I believe he can sell ANY Glock in his possession. So I don't understand why he had them labeled, unless he just didn't understand the Mass. laws.

Or maybe I'm missing something? Some special "gun show" regulation?

There are folks at the show from out of state. The vendor probably brought some of his non-compliant guns to pander to them as they walk through the crowd with sticker shock at the excessive Mass prices. What kills you about those guys is that you actually see what people in "Free" states are paying.

There are some dealers that display non MA compliant guns at the
gun shows, so they use the tags or whatever to show what joe
consumer can and can't buy. It's really just a formality, more
or less. There aren't that many dealers that show up with "LEO
only" guns or "no ma sales" guns, so it doesn't matter too much.
