Gun Confiscation Coming in Virginia

I didn't realize in addition to the closing down of all but one entrance to the State House grounds - they are also closing all kinds of streets around the state house. I'd be interested if they give a special escort to the demanding moms. They are also using metal detectors to get onto the grounds - nothing like keeping the numbers down.

On the Virginia Seal "Sic Semper Tyrannis" - agreed.

This reads like you are trying to make yourself feel better about your own inaction. If this is really how you feel, how about to go find a golf or bowling forum to feel sorry for yourself on.
Some people here get it, other think that the ballot box will work. It already didn't. And that's fine. I support whatever will happen, I just understand that nothing will happen.

Sad but very interesting to watch what is going on in Virginia. I have a hard time believing Sir Blackface coordinated this whole thing, including the dems there that are trying to push through a barrage of restrictions (and that is putting it mildly). Buddy Bloomberg, or some group like it is behind this. I think this was planned a while ago and is being used as a test case for the rest of the country. Expect similar things to happen around the country very soon.

Three members of the Neo-Nazi group "The Base" arrested by the feds in advance of their plans to attend the gun rally in VA. One was a Canadian ex-soldier who was kicked out of the army for being a white supremacist. He was a combat engineer with explosives training. He illegally entered the country and was picked up by his two nazi buddies, who armed him and planned to attend.

Feds claim that they had converted a rifle to automatic fire.

So... FBI busts yet another "terror attack" that FBI created in the first place?

For your 2A readers, two books are very ominous of situations developing in VA: Unintended Consequences by John Ross and Enemies Foreign and Domestic by Matt Bracken. You can almost point to chapters in the story where current events are at.
I just re-read Unintended Consequences in the last few weeks. I read all of Bracken's novels a few years back.

I especially recommend Bracken for everyone who is calling for an Article V Convention of States. Be careful what you wish for.

They already gave special access to the hearing rooms to make those inside "balanced", despite the overwhelming pro-gun numbers lined up outside.

Gov. Blackface's orders grant no special consideration for those with disabilities, and there will be just one line to get it. VCDL has said the nearest handicap drop-off point will leave a 4-6 block walk on hilly terrain to get to the capital. No exceptions. Blackface hates the Americans with Disabilities Act as well.

So compassionate, he is.

He’s another one that not too long ago here was openly calling for the murders of any WOMEN and CHILDREN who had any relations to police or LE in general.

As far as I’m concerned any adult who thinks that way has not only lost any and all credibility forever but they’ve also lost their GD minds.

Freedom of speech aside, you start calling for children to be murdered simply because of who they’re related too and you’re no better than a Nazi death camp commander.
Cams is entitled to his opinion. He was also quite comfortable with the pensions the concentration camp guards received. He’s also quite content with George Soros and the money he has acquired.

Cams is the exact person that wer’re protesting. Cams is the never trumper.

You can attack me. And that’s fine. But in right. And I’ll be proven right soon enough.

The law abiding armed people will take the state house, the police will stand down as they will be vastly outnumbered and most likely sympathetic to the cause, i hope that we use the long held tradition of tarring and feathering, march the tarred and feathered out the front door.

While I certainly think everyone who can go to the Virginia capitol building area should go to protest, I don't think this is the hill to die should the legislature pass the laws. Almost every county in the state passed 2A sanctuary laws, local police aren't going to enforce the registration of grandfathered guns, they're not going to bother arresting people for mags over 10 rounds, etc.

Where the body blows are really going to hurt are the outlawing of private gun ranges and self defense classes. That shit is blantently unconstitutional and I hope people who own a martial arts dojo don't surrender. That reaches a point where civil disobedience is necessary, Civil Rights style.

And I don't think comparing what we face in the gun rights community to the Civil Rights movement is that far off, so the keys to victory are employing the same tactics used back then: peaceful resistance, non-violence. Those are the methods to use next week, not burn the state house to the ground or destroy infrastructure. That's Ferguson and Baltimore and Los Angeles hood trash shit.

It's when they come to take your guns when you know you're on the hill to die on. It's when every court rules in favor of the law and SCOTUS refuses to hear the appeal when you riot because it's then that the Rubicon is crossed.

Its always a little suspect to me when the fibby's and the other 3 letter groups can track some form of domestic terrorist group from across the continent, but are surprisingly absent when Antifa "black bloc's" a section of a liberal city, or or starts attacking people and trashing the place.
I don't think I've ever seen the same amount of effort applied to both sides of the fence.

This is just lobbying/petitioning the government phase. I see no problem carrying guns to the event - but this isn’t when you use them - unless Governor Blackface starts mass arrests or starts shooting protestors.

If they pass this garbage, you file suit and you decide are you and your friends/group going to comply and fight it in court, not comply and fight in court or not comply and take more direct action. Until the government actually takes something - you have options, when they start kicking doors, you don’t.

Another thing that we have to be aware of, nuts/seriously pissed off/end of their rope folks on our side. Their are not nearly as many as on the left, but they are there.

Governor Blackface keeps intentionally, needlessly pissing people off and he might get CWII on his doorstep. It might start with one or two, but if it starts are you staying on the sidelines knowing it’s a fight to the death for both sides at that point?

My signature covers it
