Glock 26 Gen 4 guide rod question

Just picked up a gen 4 glock 26 and in the few times ive field stripped it (playing with the new toy) ive noticed that the guide rod was not seated all the way down in the notch on the barrel. Wondering if this is a potential problem or else?
