Frustrating morning but good way to start the season

wow nice lookin deers! Congrats. I am still trying for my first deer (ever), don't seem to have much luck.

Keep trying Capo2186. It took me two years before I got a deer. Way back when, it seems.

Plural do you have and extra bedroom???

Not this year unfortunately. Next year I may have a place to rent during deer season if things work out as planned.
Of course, Ill be offering the NES Green Member discount...

Got another this morning. A spike that has horns less than three inches so he qualifies as an antlerless deer.
Here is a pic. of the two. Off to the tagging station.
This morning's was a classic spot and stalk. It took me about twenty minutes to sneak about 60 yards and get within 30 yards for a good shot. He went about 50 yards and fell over.

Fantastic!!! Some good eats there!
