Nice. I just picked up a kayak for fishing. I'm going to try for some stripers this week.
Very nice! Whereabouts?

with video, i just uploaded it so its only 360p, should be 1080p hd soon
Lol. Thanks. I'm on the North Shore. I do a week down the Cape each year. Falmouth, Bourne, and usually the Vineyard for a day. I'm bringing the new kayak this year. I'd like to fish Vineyard Sound.I caught it right in the corner of the mouth...sorry , thats my standard answer. It was caught at the canal.
im no pro but looks like a mako...or a tiger.....or a black tip i cant decipher...did you let the lil guy go?
Pulled a shark out of the surf in the Cape Cod bay Saturday. Still trying to decide what type it is. Narrowed down to either black tip, mako or tiger.

Mako shark is one of the most popularly consumed shark species. Rather than for its fins, this species is prized for its meat, especially in the New England states, where it can even be found in grocery stores.
That's pretty awesome. Apparently makos are good eatin'? I was just reading about them on wiki and saw this
Can't say I've ever seen mako at the supermarket though.
