First slidefire, now...

Looks as if it forces the reset of the trigger therefore only sending one down the pipe per trigger pull. I don't think it will pass the sniff test.

The ATF already approved the 3MR trigger. Of course, they can always unapprove stuff, since they are arbitrary and capricious.

Mode three of the TAC CON 3MR Trigger System should be called the “happy switch” as this is where the magic happens. Transferred force from the bolt carrier through the trigger assembly assists the trigger back onto the front sear. It’s like your finger is forced forward into a positive reset. It basically eliminates the process of letting off the trigger to find the reset position. It does it for you and it does it very quickly. Split times are drastically reduced. Very little range time is necessary for the transition and rounds can be accurately delivered at rates approaching full-auto.

looks like it fires one round when you pull the trigger, and fires another when you release the trigger

The simple explanation is, when the bolt resets the hammer an extra part in the trigger pack bumps you off of the disconnector. It really only works if you are applying just the right amount of pressure. Squeeze too hard and it won't work.
