Judge John P. Cronan struck down New York City gun controls that he found gave city officials unconstitutional discretion in the issuance of gun permits.

Cronan struck down NYC’s “good moral character” and “good cause” provisions, concluding that they gave city officials a degree of leeway in judgment sufficient to provide them cover in denying permits for law-abiding citizens.

Are they "licenses" or are they "permits"? Big difference in NYC. Permits are rifle/shotgun only, similar to our FID card, and are much easier to obtain in NYC as opposed to licenses, which are required for handgun possession. Can't count on the media to get it right.

He actually became the douche he used to make fun of.

Even worse - he became the SPECIFIC douche - Don Imus. He's too important to talk to the little people and his view of the world is the ONLY view of the world. LOL

Funny for a guy whose schtick was self-deprecation and understanding how much of a dweeb he really was.

Oh, and how does this get NYC to issue licenses??? I mean, until the Army shows up at the police station to force them or the Supreme's decide that shit is gone too far and now it's ConCarry everywhere, we're sort of F'd anyhow.

Maybe you'd get a president that would cut federal aid to the city. Maybe.

He's taken it to new heights. I know a guy who was at Ronnie's wedding last week. Stern blew it off of course and from what I understand he's really lost his sheen to his old coworkers.

Sounds like a police/LE problem.
If they followed their oath to Our constitution we wouldn't have this problem!
You just described every shitbag politician swearing an oath of office and then desecrating the constitution before their ass has warmed the chair in the office.
