Anyone have an idea on the current cost of engraving a lower with your name and address? I want to get a lower engraved and may have somone who can do it while I wait but not sure if the price is fair.

Anyone local to Worcester do the work. Larocca is impossible to get ahold of so far so I figure he is out.

If you are looking for an old school "pusher" like Adams or White, it will be more than you want to spend. Today there are Laser engravers out there who could do it easily and pretty cheaply. I know a man, named Ernie Sullivan who does laser engraving. See: http://www.shootingbums.org/klassiclaserworks/

Most of his business is shooters badges but he does nice work on rifle stocks and forends. I think he can do metal as well.

That being said, why? What if you sell it someday?

His name is Harry, he is located in Woburn. He just engraved a Sten MKII for me and it came out awesome. He charges $15 per line of text which is rediculously cheap. And the best part is, it takes about 5 minutes and he does it while you wait. If you go, I recommend breaking your weapon down and packing it discreetly as it is in some type of industrial/offic building thingy. I just threw the receiver in a laptop bag and carried it in like that.

This is great. But if this doesn't work for you, look into the local Mall. There is a "something remembered" place in my local mall. Its a typical crap shop with lots of plates and stuff that you can get engraved.

I checked with them first, then brought my stripped AR15 lower to them to be engraved. It never left my sight so there were no transfer issues. It certainly isn't threatening looking, so there were no issues there. $25 and about 15 minutes and I was done.
