Use a mouth call, they are much better. Electronic calls=too many problems. They might work once or twice out of the package, but then the issues will begin to show up. Batteries die. Wheres my deer chip. More useless contraptions to bang around and give yourself away with. Etc. I bet if you did a poll here, you'll find that many more forum members who have succeeded in calling any sort of game in did the deed with mouth calls, or in the case of turkeys, calls worked by the hands. At the end of any day, a mouth call, or bleat can, will sound a lot more lifelike than any electronic call ever will.

I agree that traditional calls are best.

However, a buddy of mine used an electronic call on a NC hunt and I liked it a lot. He could set up the call away from his treestand and used the remote to trigger it. It seemed effective.
