EFA10 issue

Were you running any ad block programs? I have found those can screw with trying to complete some transactions or printing.

If I can look up irs account. I should be able to do an online request for a transfer copy
I doubt that the IRS cares if someone's personal info is stolen from their site. The Feds don't seem to care much about identity theft due to the Feds causing the problem. They will gladly set you up to be notified when you are screwed for a year or two.

I'm laughing that the buyer has their panties in a bunch over this. The seller would have more to worry about if for some reason there was no "proof" that they'd sold it if the buyer either lost the gun or used it in a crime. Transaction number should be adequate.

This, of course the OP probably has a buyer who is afraid of their own shadow. MA pant shitting ensues.
You can help guarantee it with this One Weird Trick:

You could just run it again if you have the transfers . Also seems like alot of work
Yahbut OP should tell the buyer

..., if I log the sale to you a second time,
then it will be on Your Permanent Record that
you sold the gun back to me
without filing a matching eFA-10.
Unless my filing didn't take,
in which case it will be on Your Permanent Record that
you sold me a gun whose original purchase was never registered to you.
Your move.

The buyer will be doing the Nadler Shuffle in no time at all...
