Hearing to extend archery season

A hybrid public hearing will be held on August 15 at 1 p.m. on proposed regulations to extend the archery deer hunting season in Wildlife Management Zones 1–9 by two weeks. If approved, the archery season would begin statewide in all zones on the 8th Monday prior to Thanksgiving, and end on the 1st Saturday after Thanksgiving. The public can provide comments during the hearing, or in writing through August 29.Learn more.
