I am going to be traveling through CT to NY for a vehicle transaction. Unfortunately, the guy wants cash. I am a little nervous about this, so can I conceal carry my pistol in CT? If none the less, can I travel through with it in the trunk? Thanks in advance!

No. You need a CT permit.

Only a couple states "accept" the MA permit (I forget what they are offhand) but I know CT isn't one of them.

BTW: In NY, there is no Non-Res permit and NO possession of handgun by non residents AT ALL. So unless you planned on leaving the gun on the side of the road in CT (presumably if the answer above was affirmative which it is not), I can't see how this was ever going to work out for you.

NO possession of handgun by non residents AT ALL.
While generally true, the "AT ALL" is not accurate - check out NY penal code 265.20 paragraph 13b for a description of the +/- 48 hour exemption for NRA or IMHSA recognized competitions.
