DiPrete Biddeford, ME Gunshow April 27-28

Might as well get this started. I'll be going for the 3rd year running. It's a long drive, but it's fun to see vendors I don't see at the NH shows with different stuff for sale. It also give me a chance to complete the "Maine Hat-trick" with a visit to Cabela's after the show and a stop at Kittery on the way home.

Might hit it on way to Kittery to pick up a lay-away. Then again, might wait til next weekend. As usual, I'll have "eyes" there for me.

Show report

Long line (for Biddeford) at 8:45, but moved quickly. 1/2 dozen empty tables and the usual vendors +/- 2 or 3. The "Ammo Guy" (Sorenson) had 20+ people in line from the opening till I left at 10:30. He was still selling bricks of CCI at 10:30 (for $65/brick). Not a lot of firearms but a few deals could be had if you got there early.

Stopped at Kittery on the way home (not one round of 22 LR in the store).

Patriot in Ipswich has bricks of "off brand" 22LR at $60/brick.

Nice day for a ride.
