Deval's said plans and what they mean for us?

Bad things are coming, and not just here: the Dems have the house and the senate and in '08 once Hillary gets in it will be all over. Plus they are going to get us attacked again

Not all Dems are gun grabbing left wing libral socialist asshats (although it does seem to be a common set of attributes). http://www.a2dems.net/campaign2006/index.htm There are democrats that are on our side too and just because the Dems control congrass doesn't mean the game is over. I agree if Hillary gets in we're all F'd and probably not just on the 2nd ammendment. I don't think Hillary will win, too much of this country will not allow a gun grabbing president again, and until the rest democrats wake up and read the Bill of Rights I don't think we'll see a D in the white house.

I think it's good that the Dems got control of Congress. If they hadn't Bush and the Rep. Congress would continue to piss off most of the country and Hillary would be a sure win in '08. Most of the people I know who voted for Deval did so because they are sour at Bush and Congress and as a result the entire republican party. The only reason I didn't vote for Deval (I am a dem.) is because I'm also a gun owner it voting for him in that context just doesn't make sense, and guns aside he is way too far left for me.

Maybe not this time around. They picked up a lot of seats out west with pro-gun Democrats.

It doesn't have to be so. When this stuff comes up, write to your State Rep and Senator. They listen to those who write, especially those who are registered to vote. Don't make the mistake a lot of people, including me, did in 1998. We were warned about the disaster the new gun law would cause and we didn't do anything.
