The mil guns have a manual safety on them. If the doctrine is to engage it, before holstering, it's possible that the "make the gun go bang" parts simply cannot move in the trigger pack if the safety is engaged. I also doubt the DOD is using any pre recall guns, either.

They also go condition 3 safety on under normal duty.

Lol.... the 320 has been such an abortion since it came out. I recreated it letting the firing pin go with a buddy's gun (empty obviously) and it was wild. I would never let my job buy that particular piece of shit.

There are claims that involved the factory holster on a few occasions. Of course its always fun that the public never gets to view the “facts”.

Some interesting screen caps from her interview. I’m going with something in her MASSIVE purse got jammed in her holster and when she yanked her 20lb purse up it caused enough trigger pressure to fire.

SAY…what is the trigger weight on a P320? Grabbing that 20lb giant sack of a purse could probably deliver it.

Also note the bullet hole in her purse is in the bottom corner. Which means the gun was jam wedged in there with piles of crap piled on top of it probably for weeks. Guess is she did the bare minimum range time if that, so probably a month worth of crap being shoved into that suitcase of a purse and crap got wedged into the holster.

My verdict: she shot herself, using her purse and whatever was in it.
