CT Late Season Pheasant Hunting

Connecticuts pheasant season is open in January and February, yet that haven't stocked since November. Think there is any chance of holdover birds? I primarily hunt down at the Thompson dam.

Slim chance, IMO if any are still alive they are moving about trying to locate food. I've seen hold overs below bird feeders picking up scraps.

That was my thought as well. I walked around some fields on Saturday and I saw tons of coyote tracks. I cant imagine the predators haven't gotten them.
