Crime Buster Colt 1911

A newer Colt 1911 worked up for a member of law enforcement. New sights front and rear- Novak mega dot front with red surround and a Wilson tritium on the rear. The top of the slide was flat topped and serrated 40lpi. The owner wanted stippling and a Chen Gen 2 magwell which work very well with the VZ grips. the frame was welded up, refit to the slide and lapped. A Kart barrel with EGW bushing provides firm lock up and accuracy. The internals all got replaced with with barstock parts from Extreme . The grip safety, thumb safety and slide stop are all EGW. The extractor is C/S and the ejector is hard fit. The mag release is beveled toward the thumb and checkered in 50lpi. The finish is polished blue. I hope it serves him and the community well.
