I have a Ruger 10/22 and just got a Browning BL-22 lever action.

I noticed that Ruger comes apart into a lot of parts for cleaning, whereas the Browning manual does not recommend any disassembly for cleaning.

Is that because the semi-automatic blows more junk into the mechanism, or is it just that the lever action was designed in a way that's just too difficult to take down for cleaning?
