Catch of the Day!

This large mouth bass was caught by my 8 year old daughter.
"Daddy, can we go fishing when you get home from work?"
"Sure kiddo, as long as it's not raining, I would love to go."



It was just under 10 lbs.

007, I know many a grown man who would cry seeing that fish. Some never catch one that big in a lifetime. Some never catch one half as big. Now your daughter will think fishing is easy, which it is, when you're in the right spot at the right time.

Your post reminds me of the old joke, "if fishing were easy they'd call it catching". When you are able to get out on the water and unwind after a long day there are no bad spots. That is the secret of fishing; everything else is a bonus. The funny part of the story was the look she gave me when I reeled in a 1 lb fish. It was a cross between, "is that it? and HELP! I think I caught a turtle!"
