So I just got off the phone with Anthony aka beansie time and he talked me into trading my beloved M44 for a tricked out, factory race prepped Kawasaki that he has been trying to unload *ahem* sell. So I dig out my ole M44 and am trying to remember its country of origin...I seem to recall it as Hungarian but I figured I'd run it past youse guys. PS I threw in a bag o ammo...anyone read Cyrillic??

Date is 1952....sorry for the crappy pics, wife's camera

I missed the boat on these when a distributor I won't name listed Hungarian, & Romanian ones a while back. Hopefully we'll see another batch show up and with a small import stamp.
I'm still debating on whether or not I should pick up another Polish M44. I think these are top of the line as far as M44 rifles go.

That is a nice Hungarian m44, I have a pole and a 1944 izzy that's got a 1 in a triangle (ddr east german).
