I was reading this post

http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/threads/101610-List-of-CT-AWB-legal-semi-auto-firearms

CT legal assault weapons, noticed this part

"Rifles-
Cans:

-M4/AR15 style rifles, with a few restrictions, as long as it doesn't violate the above restrictions
-AR10 rifles as long as it doesn't violate the above restrictions
-FAL style rifles (NON FN BRAND ONLY!!!) as long as it doesn't violate the above restrictions
-HK 91/93/94 style rifles (NON HK BRAND ONLY!!!), PTR, JLP, CETME, etc. as long as it doesn't violate the above restrictions"

My question is, for HK clones is the century C93 5.56 legal in CT? It seems to be very similar to the CETME clones i see in gunshops in ct, except its in 5.56. thanks

That one has a threaded barrel with a flash hider, I believe... so it would be subject to the more than 2 evil feature rule in the AWB and is illegal. I have seen the same model being sold in CT with a pressed (?) on muzzle brake and the threads underneath removed. If the ban names a gun specifically, the copies are ok so long as it is not named as a " xxx - type" (MAC, AK-47, Tommy Gun).
