I saw on the news that Mumbles Menino is rehashing this again in a lame attempt to "fight crime"..at least that is what I think he said 
Anyway my question is are there any statistics out there on the types of guns turned in, condition, etc and if any were actually used in a crime? I hear anecdotal stories all the time from these things but have never seen any real data.
