Boar hunting does not go as expected. (graphic)

A friend of mine has clients in the carolinas and WV. This is how they do it down there.
He's hunted with them and was scared shitless.

His guys had a pack of beagles who would chase the boar.
Once cornered, they would send in a Pitbull wearing kevlar (no joke) who would grab the boar by its neck.
The man would then go in and stab it.

I don't have a problem with it. I'd rather see that than how some people shoot bears out of trees. It gives the pig a fighting chance.

That's exactly what this guy didn't have. A pitbull or other catch dog. Don't understand what he thought those little pups where going to do for him other than track it.
I know of a bunch of kennels that breed pits solely for catching boar. Check out southern inferno kennels on facebook

Yup. Plotts, but they do get hurt. I saw a Plott hunting that had stitches in his side.
