ATI Omni Hybrid Lower Receiver

A casual acquaintance ot the LGS may be looking to get rid of one of these because he won't be able to use it. I am wondering if it might be something worthwhile to pickup for better (i.e., more free) times down the road.

It's more curiosity than anything else. And to see if such a lower would stand up to the same use as metal.

I have one and used it to build a dedicated 22LR AR. It is great for that, and I think it would be fine for a 223 AR as it is well reinforced with metal inserts. It is light, but has some stuff that is annoying. I did a thread a long time ago about them if you can find it.

Hmmmm, I did not think about that. I think building a .22lr is still legal, is that correct? I'll try to find your thread, thanks. This is the type of information I was looking for.
