BM and DPMS are made by the same manufacturer (LAR) and the S&W and Stag lowers are made by CMT.

Lowers, for the most part, are all created equal. Quality of FCG's can vary if they are complete.

The difference is the tolerances for the QC by each company. Though DPMS and BM come out of LAR, I have not heard of a BM lower being out of spec yet, but have seen and heard DPMS being so.

Stick with the top 3 I mentioned and you should be fine.
