I counted 27 mags. That's 810 rounds he will never get back. What a waste.

I was dumping 1800+ in a single test over a few hours.

If the bolt is held open after each mag dump, why is he cycling it and not just engaging the bolt release?

I've never caught one on fire, but I've definitely gotten them hot enough to where its almost too hot to hold onto even with gloves. Nevermind letting 750+ rounds off through a SAW

The rest/vice that the receiver is attached to blocks access to the release.

Interesting. It was odd watching the guy keep using the charging handle instead of the bolt release though.

The way it was mounted to that fixture on the left side, I don't think the bolt release was reachable.

I've done that with an AK and it didn't take that many rounds to get the wooden foregrip burning.
