Anyone see a S&W or Colt Model 1917 US ARMY around for sale?

I love these WWI military .45 revolvers. I have a really nice S&W on the way, but I'm trying to pick up another if I can find one locally. I like to pair things up so I usually collect in twos. I guess I'm a little like Noah (without the Ark). I would be interested in the blued WWI revolver or the parkerized (military refurb) WWII model. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I'll post pictures when the first one arrives. Its traveling almost 3000 miles, though, so it may take a while.

Have seen one or two at most guns shows in Mass. In good condition they should go for about $600. Have seen then way over priced though. GB has a half dozen right now. Easy to spot at a show, just look for the lanyard loop.

It's a slightly different design. The trigger reach is tough. I enjoy shooting the S&W model much more.

Gunbroker. Have to wait about a week. I will post some pictures tomorrow of the Colt 1917 that fell into my lap yesterday, though. When it rains, it pours.

According to my better half, when you have two, you have a pair, a collection is when you have three or more. You will need a pair of S&Ws, blued and Matte as well as a pair of Colts. Then you will have a collection.......
