Anyone make their own lanyard for game calls?

Looking to make or purchase a lanyard to go around the neck to hold 2-3 waterfowl calls. I'm done with fumbling around my pockets and risk having them fall into the muck.

Anyone have any recommendations to purchase or a site that will show you how to make a decent one?

You can get a nice one at basspro for like $20-$30. You can make them but it is pretty involved. Lots of braiding, weaving and patience, that's 3 strikes for me.

the four strand braid is nice and pretty simple or the Cobra Knot/Survival bracelet braid, or even simpler is the monkey chain

Throw in some loops for your call and use a ranger bead as a tensioner

I find knot work to be relaxing but still lets my mind work
