Anybody have a AR Action block Borrow/Buy

Hi , looking to get a action block but everywhere I look they are sold out , wondering if anybody in the Wareham/Cape area has one I could borrow for a day or 2 or if anybody has one they want to sell, I would prefer to buy , I have this thing about using other peoples stuff but if I have to borrow it I guess its just a tool that goes in a freaking vise anyways . Thanks

You can make your action blocks out of a couple of pieces of soft pine 2x4s. Just remove enough material from two pieces of 2x4 to accomodate the action. If you want to do a real good job, you can relieve each piece of 2x4 to fit the action more precisely. The next step is to turn an oak dowell down to fit the channel for the bolt carrier group. A one inch dowell needs only a slight reduction in diameter to fit this channel. The dowell is necessary to support the action when it is clamped in a vise between the action blocks. The entire process can be completed in about 45 minutes or less.
