I have a 16' boat and fish in Lost Lake, Forge Pond and other small bodies of water in the area with my 6 year old. To keep his interest, we fish with worms and a bobber and pull in a ton of yellow perch and sunfish/bluegills. I would like to start going after bass, because we catch quite a few by accident near the weeds. Since I grew up on Long Island sound I primarily was a saltt water fisherman, I really don't know much about freshwater fishing. I would like to go after bass with the right equipment and techniques.
Does anyone know of a local guide that could come out on our boat with us and teach us how to fish for bass?
