There is an SKS in a local gun shop where I'm working and it's a Norinco with a blade bayonet. It has a 26 in a triangle. it's in very good condition. They have $400 on it and it is a consignment so they probably won't move on the price. Is it something I should pick up or is it over priced?

What kind of stock. I pick one up last year with a jungle stock. Some one painted the stock black. It was on consignment for $250.00 got it for $165.00. Took paint off. The # all the same. It was the 1st year they made them.

Four hundred is a bit much, IMO. Even if it is a matching Sino-Soviet. I know that there isn't an over abundance of SKS's here in the Northeast, but there are enough out there on the money to pass on this one. With patience, even a blade bayonet Chinese can be found under $300.
