Apparently, he was responding to a noise complaint according to another article.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that Kondek was the father of five children.

Couldn't be a worse XMAS present for the five kids. RIP.

The Tarpon Springs Police Department has identified the suspect who fatally shot police officer Charles Kondek to be a transient.
The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Marco Antonio Parilla Jr.
