I was thinking about this article more as I was wiping my guns down after a damp range day and the only real answer to this guy’s point is ‘yes. I do like them because they’re efficient tools to kill people’. I don’t plan on killing anyone. I’m not a murderer. I’m not a school shooter. I’m not a terrorist. I like to shoot at the range because it’s fun to push myself to be better at a skill. The fact that the skill can be used to defend myself, my family, my friends etc from criminals, terrorists, zombies or a tyrannical government if needed IS part of the appeal. Hey, golf is fun but it ain’t gonna do shit for you if you’re in a crisis. If I’m ever in the horrific position of having to use my guns for their intended purpose I’m glad I can and f*** you to anyone who has a problem with it. Don’t impose your victim mentality on me.
I added my 2c
Me too. Wtf are they teaching at West Point?
It's that same moron from last week or so about the new zealand ban. Screw that guy and his nonsense.
Now don't you feel 'embarrassed'?
While the definition of ‘a good time’ may not jive with my definition of a good time, I agree.I would never read a Salon article and find the BS written in bathroom stalls to be more credible journalism than Salon.
