Alliance Armament announced today that their AMP10 upper will be getting a converson kit so that it can shoot the Aguila 12 ga shorty shells and they are making a 20 round drum for it. Appears it will use the standard AMP10 upper with a conversion kit for the magwell and barrel. Sounds like its a non starter for us AWB people but it is an interesting concept.
They only say they need to clear their plate before a AMP11 (M11/9) 12ga upper would be built. Further it appears that the M11 AMP upper is too narrow to fit the 12 ga barrel so it looks like a whole new upper needs to be designed.
