Im a new shooter to service rifle or for now CMP shoots at my club. Been going regular since jan 2011.
A few things today I found to be very helpful
1. I was given a old shooting coat by a retired shooter up until now its been sweatshirt or t shirt. In the near past I was noticing my pulse in the front sight I assume through the sling. This jacket has a nice heavy leather area where the strap sits. Not only is my arm not going numb but I like the absence of the ding ding ding ding of the front post....whoo hoo. The elbow pads are awesome to. Man I been punishing myself all this time.
2. Lighting lets just say at the club at the time I was shooting prone this time of year the sun beems right down your peep sight....arrgghhh I have not shot such a low 100 yard prone score in a while.
3. even though prone was tough my sitting and standing scores where the best so far 95 and 80
and it was cold !!!!
