I can't for the life of me get stripper clips to load rounds into AK mags and can't see it being any easier with the gizmos out there that supposedly help.
Has anyone here actually used a stripper clip to load an AK mag?

nope, but the M1 carbine strippers work well.

Me neither, I've tried a couple of "Speed loaders" kinda like a metal frame which goes around the top of the mag and then you insert a srtipper clip into the top of the frame & push down.
