4th District Candidate Plans AK-47 Social

GREENVILLE COUNTY --
One Republican candidate has found a unique way to target voters.

Christina Jeffrey, who is running for the 4th Congressional District seat, has posted a YouTube video, with her holding an AK-47 rifle.

"In politics, you do have to get attention,” Jeffery said.

WYFF News 4 met up with her at Allen Arms, a gun shop in Greenville County, to ask her about the video.

Jeffrey said it's about the Second Amendment and her fight to protect it.

“It's not about hunting: it's about self -defense and it's about being a sovereign people. Sovereign people are an armed people,” she said.

Jeffrey will be holding an AK-47 social June 5 at Allen Arms from noon to 3p.m.

Attendees will have a chance to win a free AK-47, compliments of Jeffrey’s campaign.

Imagine the coronaries that would happen if such a thing would to happen up in MA. Also love how in the report there is a blurb that someone will be winning their own riffle.

You mean like my 80s Polytech? Had this AK for years. I wish I had it converted to full auto back before the MG ban in May of 86. This would have been a peach of a MG. Oh well...... I will still keep it in semi auto.
