.224 vs .233 I'm confused

So, I was unpacking my reloading stuff tonight and found that some bags of bullets were labelled '.233' I panicked that I had 400 unusable bullets.... When I broke out the callipers, they were the same size as my .224's.

Are .233 and .224 the same or were they mislabelled or am I missing something?

Ok, I did some Interweb research and I think I figured it out... .224 is for ".223" and .233 is for 5.56... my callipers still showed no difference in size... will I have any problems using them interchangeably?

Check your reloading manual.

Both .223 and 5.56 NATO use a .224" projectile.

I'll second vellnueve, reread the reloading manual for those cartridges.

Are you sure you don't have .224 and .223.
