A man in Rochester, N.H., was found dead and his wife seriously injured after the woman called 911 this morning and told police her late husband had shot them both.
Rochester Police Chief Paul Toussaint said investigators are treating the incident as “an apparent act of domestic violence that has resulted in a fatality.”
“There is no danger to the community, and this does not appear to be a random act. No suspects are at large at this time,” Toussaint said.
The couple’s names have not been released.
The 45-year-old wife called 911 just before 6:40 a.m. today from a home on Sunrise Drive to report her husband, 47, had shot her and then committed suicide, Toussaint said.
