Finding a PTG with the Russian Eagle crests still intact is quite a feat. Most of these were issued/sold off to the Balkan countries, and the eagles were either scrubbed or peened.

Just a guess, but maybe only one in twenty are still intact. If it's priced reasonably ($275 or less), it should be snapped up.

Still looking for a whole one, myself. Go for it, Fred!

Didn't buy it. I asked some additional questions from the seller and the stock has a crack at the tang, the bore from the pictures he sent me looks like a sewer pipe and he thinks it was cold blued...nah not for me.
