Hey Guys,
Thought I'd share some pictures of her.
Very early 1903 RIA 1909.
Has numerous USMC characteristics.
Serialized B2 bolt, sanded stock, greenish Parkerizing, darkened rear sight leaf and hatcher hole.
Note - Falls into a heavy SRS grouping of Army rifles, BUT that's consistent with the USMC buying all the 1903s they could acquire even LN1903s when the Army was transitioning away from them.
Doesn't have vice marks or a stippled buttplate (but it has a fine checkered)
I was told it might be a USMC Nicaraguan campaign rifle. But not sure.
Just sold her, but I thought I'd share and give her a proper send off before her next "tour of duty!"
