Did a search already. Cried when I saw people were buying these for $60. What's considered a fair price on these nowadays? I checked out gunbroker's current availability; best one there is going for $300 with a missing cleaning rod.
 
Yeah... they were cheap at one point. I would think today $300 would be for one in excellent condition. I see them for between $150-250 in fair to very good condition.
 
BTW, why do some of the sellers say they will only ship to c&r or ffl? I thought antiques could be shipped direct to anyone. Wrong?
 
1930's-40's date on the receiver.

Be careful shooting one; use light loads. Same as a Commission 88 vs. a Gew98 or a K98. The older rifles were not designed for the stronger sS patronen round developed in 1905.
