Going price for broom handle mauser

Seems like a decent price? I'm not at all expert, though. Which caliber, 7.63x25?
Far as I know it sold already
Looked like a commercial late 30s production big mauser banner 6 digit serial
Almost looks to nice like “reblued” at some point

Update : had a look at it. Nice shape possible refinish?

Gramps pulled the pin and gun off dead german?
The conditions dont match?

"Saar-Lauter" probably refers to an area of Germany historically known as the Palatine and now known as Rheinland-Pfalz:

Rhineland-Palatinate - Wikipedia

"S.A. Fuhrung" refers to the SA (Brownshirt) sports association.

"Oberst" is German for colonel.

Here's another one of those badges for sale in Spain:

Germany III Reich. SA Sports Badge. Bronze version | Militaria Barcelona

And here's a silver one from IMA (out of stock):

Original German WWII SA Sports Badge in Silver Grade by W. Redo

So, the badge probably has nothing to do with a gun.

Like Lugers, C96s depend heavily on provenance and condition. We'd need to see the gun and its markings to give an idea as to value.

Here's what IMA has to say about the bronze SA badges:

Grades:
- The Bronze SA Sport/Defence Badge was awarded to those who had successfully passed an educational and physical programme.

Yeah, sounds like the pin might be unrelated.

Late 30s I think would indicate near the end of the production run as they ceased manufacture in 1937.

Every German WWII firearm was owned by hitler, and taken off a dead SS nazi officer. Unless you have the paperwork to prove it,
well it's just a story. A lot of factors come to play when it comes to value, just the reblue itself lowers it's value.Still $1500 for one
is not to bad, but I need to see pictures to let you know if it's worth it.Here is a few of mine, I just love them. 58380643_819443205078164_4426666545371938816_n (2).jpg

If you want an objective range of values, go out to Rock Island Auctions and do a search on their last Sporting and Collector auction. All the gavel prices are listed and searchable. Just remember that the price includes the buyers premium paid to RIA.

Your gun was made in the mid to late 20's,it looks in very nice condition with crisp marking well worth $1500.
If someone refinished that gun, they did one hell of a job because the markings, and edges look nice and sharp.

Its one of those looks good “but”
Did not get a chance to bore scope it.
Theres a few spots where my camera skills lack to show some of the spots
I really like the gun myself but dod not have $1500 to part with. My boss ended up with it.

The ammo is out there it's just finding out where,Buffalo arms had some awhile ago.I don't know if they still have anymore left.
as for clips ebay has some for sale.

Is PPU (Prvi Partizan) available in your vicinity? You may want to explore this route. As to clips, be aware that most out there are 8-rd clips of Czech origin, used for 7.62 Tokarev.
I have not looked to hard. I have 2 10 round clips coming as a gift from another member.
Not my gun but I do have it to shoot at some point.
