For my fellow NES history buffs, this is a big year for American Civil War activities:

I'll be attending with my family, meeting up with my brother and his family. Once in a lifetime opportunity.

Cool, I took my sons there on those dates for the reenactment the year after the movie came out,

itwas huge.

nothing like an on site history lesson, complete with thousands of men and actors who played in the movie still in character, at the battle sights.

I will never forget walking from Seminary Ridge to Cemetery Ridge. A chilling walk indeed.
