We NES'ers are given a lot of rope with which to hang themselves before threads are locked and I imagine there's more "gentle reminder" giving going on than I've ever thought about.

I want to create a forum just so I can ban people.

no you don't i was an admin on a large forum and also owned my own vbulletin forum...

you ban people, and their ip address, they just come back like a boomerang with a new ip address and false introduction

it gets tiring and frustrating, really... esp when they ignore repeated warnings and wait to come on in the middle of the night and post inflammatory shite when few staff members are signed in

i can only assume it is the same here since many people who find themselves banned have no lives and posess zero common sense

having a forum is a PITA
