Youtubes' changing of video layouts based on content.

Big fan of WW2 - watch any and all types of WW2 videos on youtube. Just noticed, videos that deal with the Germans are having their pages heavily modified.

ETA: Just did a search using "Hitler Speech". Again, plenty of hits on the sidebar.

There's a video from Tim Pool on YT in which he's talking about the problems that stem from censorship, where he describes talking to a Richard Spencer supporter, IIRC in England, and trying to convince the guy of one thing or another that Spencer said that was racist.

So he punches it into Google.

And every result that contains the quote is stripped from the Google results, in compliance with their hate speech laws.

Youtube's automated censor certainly does some interesting things. I know Forgotten Weapons had a video talking about how any of his thumbnails that featured a Nazi flag (he includes the flag of the country of origin for each weapon video) was blurred. Youtube really botching the job on this one. They want to remove Neo-Nazi content from their site, but don't want to dedicate the manpower required to sift out the trash from the real history and educational content. Their auto-censor algorithm is making a pretty terrible job of it.
