There's also the Bison brand hand pump. Yup, they will work on deep wells. I have a SimplePump (110ft), and have used a Bison.

I just installed my Flojack this past weekend. We have a >500 foot well, though my static water level is closer to 50 feet. We went down 100 feet. Works like a champ and we spent less then $800.
