Wilderness survival/ foraging workshop

Hi, JKR
Where is local to you? there are some very good schools all over the North east. When researching, workshops and such, ask yourself these questions.
1. What style of survival Am I interested in? because the approach will very greatly..
If you like the Military approach, get with a guy that has had that type training with military gear. Excellent approach!!! Get-R-Done attitude. Awesome gear, know your gear, improvise with your gear. Run and gun, crush and move forward. a very A type personality approach. There is no BS with Military training. They will cover

If you like the earthy crunchy, caretaker Native American approach, that is Awesome!!! This group is of a different mind set. Emphasizing nature as it’s supplier. Very respectful towards Mother Nature. Wool loving, Gourp eating caretakers of the planet. There tends to be more of a tribal community with elders. If you can get past that higher Archie crap you will be golden. They will cover

Both approaches as different as night and day, but both cover the material you seek.
1. Rip the tree down and get the job done.,,,Or
2. Go around the tree and get the job done.
Once you realize the approach you like….pick from any of the schools…

I second this suggestion. I know the guy who teaches, and he is really great to work with. I am in the process of getting my family in on one of his workshops comming up.
