Who does Checkering & bedding?

Is there anyone close who does Checkering on a pistol grip and possibly bed a rifle?

Nobody? Some smiths seem to do metal but no one states wood.

Did you try contacting some of the gunsmiths directly?

No, I was hoping for recomendations first. I do not like calling places that don't list that service and askig if they do it. You can get the "I can do that" answer for the $buisness$ but find out it was a mistake afterwards.

In addition to Santurri, try Greg Derr, or maybe Remsport. These names come up many times on the boards, and always in a positive light, (from what I've read anyway).
