What happens to the threads?

Just wondering why the threads get removed so fast in hunting an fishing forum? I seen something here last night in passing and figured I would take a better look at it today and its gone. It was a story about the guys first deer at age 53. I wish I would have taken the extra 2 mins to read the whole thing!

Yup.... he needs to crank this up. The less frequently used subforums don't get as much traffic so they "disappear" because of this setting.
